Change Administrator password

Set or change the password that restricts access to ColdFusion Administrator pages

1. Select Security > Administrator in the navigation pane.

2. Select the type of Administrator authentication. The options are:

§        Use a single password only (default)

§        Separate user name and password authentication (allows multiple users)

§        No authentication need (not recommended)

3. In the Root Administrator Password section, specify the new password in the New Password box. The password can have a maximum of 50 characters.

4. In the Confirm Password box, confirm your new password.

5. Click Submit Changes.
